A double-acting O-Ring energized piston seal which includes a polyurethane seal ring - suitable for dynamic applications. The Trelleborg Zurcon® Wynseal is a tear and abrasion resistant seal with an especially high sealing effect, aided by the special design of the seal edge profile.

Commercial Description:
Zurcon® Z20, 93ShA proprietary Thermoplastic Polyurethane material based on aromatic diisocyanate and polyester diol. Developed by Trelleborg Sealing Solutions for hydraulic application sealing elements, Zurcon® Z20 offers high wear and extrusion resistance, low compression set, a wide operating temperature range, minimal swelling in mineral oil and acceptable hydrolysis resistance.

Commercial Description:
A 70 durometer, NBR elastomer. The properties of the nitrile rubber depend mainly on the ACN content which ranges between 18 % and 50 %. In general it has good mechanical properties with an operating temperature range of between -30 °C and +100 °C. NBR is mostly used with mineral based oils and greases and is a good choice for standard applications. Used also as an energizer in T46N, M12N, Z20N, and Z52N.
